Working in Nanotechnology

Nanotechnology is a cutting-edge field that transcends traditional discipline boundaries. The strategic importance of this field was recognisied by HEFCW and the University of Wales Swansea, leading to the formation of the Pan-Wales Multidisciplinary Nanotechnology Centre in January 2002.

The success of this Centre, and the multifaceted research front that has emerged, is a testament to this initial investment, which even in a short period, has resulted in an internationally competitive research base in Wales.
