Accreditation

All our courses are certified as meeting the educational requirements for the Chartered Engineer (CEng) status. Accreditation of the undergraduate programme is based on regular, rigorous reviews of our course content and delivery by internationally recognised professional bodies, including the Institution of Chemical Engineers, the Institute of Civil Engineers, the Institution of Electrical Engineers, the Institute of Materials and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. All students entering programmes in the School of Engineering are encouraged to become a student member of one of these institutions.
