The growth of nanotechnology is one of the most exciting developments in science and engineering in recent years. Much of the research in this field is interdisciplinary in nature, drawing expertise from different areas across the life science, physical science and engineering disciplines. These courses will cover a broad range of subject areas, from the latest semiconductor fabrication technology, right across to biological and medical applications, with the emphasis throughout on characterisation and control of materials at the nanoscale.

Standard Entry requirements for MRes and MSc degree

A minimum of a second class honours degree or equivalent in a related subject; typically Engineering or Physics.
