Female Voices in the College of Engineering

In September 2016 we ran a 'Female Voices in Engineering' talk for welcome week. This helped our new students find out more about our inclusivity agenda as well as the opportunities and support that are available for women in our college and in the wider university.

This informal session provided the opportunity to meet other female students, hear about life as a student from 2nd and 3rd years, and introduced the new Swansea Students Women in Engineering Society, which is run by students for students, and some of the events that they have planned for the upcoming year!

New Student Group

We are proud to announce the new Swansea Students Women in Engineering Society which is affiliated to WES, the national Women's Engineering Society.

It is a great opportunity for all female engineers and sport scientists to get involved and become part of a vibrant network. Free membership to WES is also available through the group.

They meet regularly at 52 Degrees on the Bay Campus.
