The Bay Campus is situated in an outstanding location on the eastern approach into Swansea, on a 65 acre site adjacent to a beautiful Site of Special Scientific Interest.

The Campus has direct access onto the beach and its own seafront promenade. It includes purpose built facilities for students, staff and industry. The architecture has been designed to ensure a friendly and collegiate feel, creating a strong sense of community.

The creation of the Bay Campus is one of the largest Knowledge Economy projects in Europe and will propel the growth of high-tech clusters, especially in advanced engineering, and will create over £3 billion in economic impact.

What is in the area surrounding the Bay Campus?

There are amenities close to the site in the SA1/Marina area and in Port Tennant/St Thomas including shops, bars and cafes. The Bay Campus is the same distance from the city centre is the existing Singleton Park Campus for accessing Swansea nightlife and city centre shopping.

What transport is available to access the Bay Campus?

A frequent bus service is in operation between the Bay Campus, the city centre, and Singleton Park Campus. The journey time between campuses is around 20 minutes. The Bay Campus, Singleton Park Campus and Swansea City Centre are also linked by National Cycle Route 4.
