Our Work Placements Team run the Swansea Paid Internship Network, the Week of Work programme and the Santander Internships programme. They can help you find all kinds of paid and unpaid work experience and upskill you in employability to ensure you make the most of each opportunity.

The Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership offers free support to help you develop your own business. You can receive help with business planning, company registration, intellectual property advice, grant applications, and much more.

How we work with businesses

Placements

We offer a flexible range of work placements for all sectors. Our application process is simple and employers have a named Account Manager at the University. Our students are upskilled for graduate level work through an Employability Master Class and we assess their abilities and interests via an interview to make sure they will be a good fit for the roles offered.

Time Exchange Network

Our Time Exchange Network is a way for alumni, employers, professionals and entrepreneurs to engage with and help develop our students. The Network's website is currently under development; please email employability@swansea.ac.uk for more information.

Our Alumni office offers opportunities to share your knowledge with our undergraduates, provide internships, and become a career mentor. Your donations can also help us attract the most talented students, regardless of their geographic, social or financial background.

Welsh Employability Fair

Monday May 11th 2015  (10am-3.30pm, with a series of workshops held between 10:30am and 3:00pm). Fulton House, Swansea University

The conference will include workshops, seminars and exhibitions by employers, and providers of jobs that require workers who can speak Welsh.
