In co-operation with the School of Law, English Language Training Services (ELTS) has developed a full-time, 5 week, subject specific pre-sessional course for students who already meet the English language entry requirements for the LL.M programme but wish to improve their English for Legal Purposes and have a period of orientation before starting their University course.

Students who have an English Language level of at least IELTS 5.5 or equivalent, but who need to improve to a level  which is acceptable for entry onto the LL.M programme, should join the general Pre-Sessional course in July for the first 5 weeks before enrolling on the LL.M Pre-Sessional course in August.

The LL.M Pre-sessional course includes:

General English Academic Writing for Legal Purposes Study Skills for Law Law related project work Academic Lecture Programme in Law.
