Support for students with disabilities, medical conditions or specific learning difficulties

.

If you have a disability, medical condition or specific learning difficulty, contact the Disability Office to find out more about the support that is available to ensure you have the same opportunities as everyone else. The Disability Office is part of Student Services which is a one stop shop for any advice and guidance required. The University welcomes applications from students with disabilities and/or additional support needs. Applicants who declare a disability will be considered according to the same principles as for other candidates. The University is committed to supporting all students in their academic studies. Students are strongly encouraged to declare a disability, medical condition mental health difficulty or specific need at the application stage as it can take considerable time to put support arrangements in place, please let us know at the earliest opportunity so that the Disability Office can contact you to discuss your support needs. Information can be found on their website at www.swansea.ac.uk/disability-office
