Our Vision

DACE Vision

DACE offers enjoyable and stimulating part-time, community-based learning for adults in the South West Wales region. We listen to our learners, ensuring that our courses and progression routes are relevant, clearly described and open to all.

We provide opportunities for personal growth and new skills development by increasing social, political and cultural awareness; transforming lives and changing communities!

Welcome to DACE

Every year, around 2,000 students pass through DACE.  Some students pursue subjects with a specific purpose in mind, such as a change of career or a new academic course of study while others develop new interests.  Whatever the reason, you are assured of an interesting group of fellow students, from all walks of life and also a welcome from a highly committed and enthusiastic group of experienced tutors.

The wide geographical spread of course locations reflects our commitment to widen participation in adult education. Our programmes are flexible, enabling you to study in the daytime or evening to suit your lifestyle.  We aim to offer you clear opportunities for progression for students to consider further programmes of study with DACE and Swansea University.

DACE students come from many different backgrounds and experiences, and it is this diversity and cross-fertilisation of ideas that we celebrate.  Our aim is to provide something for everyone and if not we are always ready to listen to your ideas.
