Welcome to the Department of Adult Continuing Education (DACE), where staff work with learners on campus and in the community to provide opportunities for them to learn at a level at which they are comfortable. We work in close partnership at a range of community venues where adult learners can study in a safe, welcoming and convenient environment.
We offer a variety of courses at different levels, such as Astronomy, Counselling, Creative Writing and Literature, Egyptology, English as a Foreign Language, Environmental Studies, European Languages, History, IT and Multimedia, Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, Study Skills and Welsh Literature as well as the part-time BA (Honours) degree in Humanities, History and English and also the MA in Lifelong Learning.
Our offer is simple. We have a large portfolio of course options, excellent financial and learning support and opportunities for people to progress from foundation to higher level learning.
