The College of Science offers a warm welcome to International and EU students. Students from 80 countries around the world have chosen to study our undergraduate, postgraduate and research degrees.
We have a global academic staff coming from countries including China, India, Italy, Netherlands, Pakistan, Poland, Russia, Spain, USA and Ukraine.
It is a big step to move to another country to study and the staff within the College of Science work closely with staff from other Departments across the University to ensure that you receive the best academic and pastoral support to enable you to truly enjoy your time with us. We have members of staff who will help you with everyday queries and problems and you will be assigned a personal tutor who will help you with academic queries such as choosing the right modules for you, advice and support for assignments and exams and more.

English Language Requirements
If English is not your first language then you will need to prove your language ability through a recognised test to meet the entry requirements for all Science courses at Swansea University. These are as follows:
Foundation and Undergraduate programmes: A score of IELTS 6.0 (with 5.5 in each skill) or equivalent
Postgraduate Taught Masters - Biosciences & Geography - A score of IELTS 6.5 (with 5.5 in each skill) or equivalent
Postgraduate Taught Masters - Computer Science & Mathematics - A score of IELTS 6.0 (with 5.5 in each skill) or equivalent
Postgraduate Research Masters - A score of IELTS 6.5 (with 5.5 in each skill) or equivalent
