Algal Biotechnology for Wales


The Algal KTC is able to support a range of enterprises. Find out more about the types of businesses we work with and some of our current collaborative projects.



Operating from state-of-the-art controlled environment facilities, the CSAR team carries out research and technological development, training and advice on behalf of commercial farmers / aquaculture service providers, funding agencies and governmental institutions, in the UK and internationally.

EnAlgae aims to reduce CO2 emissions and dependency on unsustainable energy sources in North West Europe. Project participants will also benefit from financial and political support and through the exchange of expertise and experiences can jointly elaborate upon best-practice models which may then influence their respective national, regional or local policies.
