The Occupational Health Service is part of Swansea University and was established to promote physical and mental well being in the workplace amongst Staff, Nursing and Medical Students.

Sources include pre-employment medical screening, work related fitness assessments, return to work rehabilitation programmes and work related health surveillance.  We also operate an emergency centre with an 'on call rota'.  The Occupational Health department is staffed by one full time Occupational Health Nurse, one part-time (term time) Staff Nurse and  support from 2 part-time Physicians and a Secretary. 

We are temporarily located in grey portacabins situated between Preselli and Cefn Bryn Hall of Residences.

The Senior Occupational Health Nurse is Sister Cathy Anthony who can be contacted on ext.3045.  Staff Nurse Helen Jackson is on ext.4333.  The part-time Physician's are Dr. Ben Raichoudhury and Dr. Pat Purcell who can be contacted via the Secretary, Mrs Gay Carter on ext.5538.
