This shows a group of 21 men. Ten of them are standing, eight are sitting on roughly-made benches, and three are sitting on the floor. Above their heads on the wall are four small portraits below which the names of Marx, Engels, Lenin and Stalin have been written in dark ink or paint and in a flowing cursive style. A number of slogans in a plainer script are attached to the wall. The one on the right is indecipherable but the one on the left reads: "Theory has unbeatable power when it becomes the property of the masses". A slogan partly hidden by the heads of the men in the middle of the standing row reads "Long live our leader Zakhariadhis". For these men to have a posed group photograph taken against these slogans suggests that they were members of the Party.
