LL14g Woman sitting on wall at eastern end of village. A woman in a striped overcoat is sitting on a rough stone wall in the foreground. To the left is a dark-clad figure, probably a village woman, on the path leading to the eastern end of the village. Barrel-vaulted village houses are in the background, some with separate courtyard ovens. The flat-roofed house in the background to the right has been identified as belonging to the family of Mikhalis Gavallas (nicknamed as Khiliadhatos). His was the only island family in the 1930s to have an ironwork gate.
