LL12 A baby, possibly Elektra Apostolu’s daughter, Aghni:  This is a close-up of a chubby baby with sun-tanned legs sitting on a pile of sacks outdoors. She is wearing a knitted short-sleeved blouse with buttons on the side to attach to knitted pants, and is looking up to her right. One of the women exiles arrived with a baby which had been born in prison. The woman was Elektra Apostolou and she was married to a doctor named Sidheris. Sources claim that when he signed a declaration renouncing Communism, Elektra repudiated him. The baby daughter was later named Aghni. This may well be a photograph of her.
