Open and visit days

The visit day is an opportunity for you and your family to explore Swansea, its campus and the Computer Science department. On the day there will be talks about Computer Science at Swansea, our placements program and some hands-on demonstrations about the work our students and staff carry out here. There are plenty of opportunities to chat to current students and staff over lunch, and participate in a question and answer session. University run talks and tours provide everything you need to know about studying at Swansea, our sports and campus facilities and accomodation.

During the visit day you will have a face to face interview with one of the academics in the department. This is a non-stressful meeting designed for us to get to know you, and for you to get to know us. As a result of this meeting we will give a measured offer of grades for you to gain entry. This may be lower than our offer if you do not attend interview. (see entry requirements).

• March 20th 2013

The university open days took place on the following dates:

• October 6th 2012
• November 10th 2012

Open days generally take the same form as a visit day apart from the formal UCAS application process.
