Dr Winifred Lamb (1894-1963)
Dr Winifred Lamb was a pioneering archaeologist who excavated at Mycenae, Sparta, Thermi on Lesbos and Kusura in Turkey. She was honorary keeper of Greek antiquities at the Fitzwilliam Museum, University of Cambridge.
