Welcome to Teachers

The History and Classics department is very happy to work with primary and secondary schools both in Wales and further afield. We can offer you:

  • Workshops and talks at your school or at a historical site, and opportunities for school pupils to visit our department and learn about Classics and History through taster sessions and workshops
  • Advice and guidance for teachers
  • History/Classics/Latin/Greek classes taught by our students at your school as part of the KS2/3 curriculum

‌We offer workshops at Swansea University or in your school. In March 2014, we organised a schools’ Classics Fair at the University, and we are happy to organise a similar day for interested schools.
