CUSP - College University Skills Partnership

Delivering Skills for Economic Growth!

Swansea University and partner Further Education institutions in Wales are responding to local and global economic trends and the need for a flexible, fresh approach to developing skills for growth in the region.

CUSP aims to create progression pathways to higher level skills through the development of Foundation Degrees in key sectors. These are part-time Higher Education Qualifications which include a strong work-based learning element, designed to meet the needs of industry.

"CUSP will help us up-skill the existing workforce and re-skill people to take advantage of new opportunities. It will support the education of young people in areas which are in demand by  locally based employers."
Sharon Lusher, Principal, Pembrokeshire College.
