The third year of study is spent in Italy, though students studying two languages may choose to spend the year in a country where their other language is spoken.  You can attend one of the Italian universities with which we have flourishing exchanges: Bergamo, Bologna, Cassino, Siena and Urbino.  Alternatively, you can apply to teach English in an Italian state school or take up paid employment of your own choosing (although we must approve this before you accept it).  The year in Italy can be a challenging experience, but it is often a thrilling and always a rewarding one (not least because future employers will be impressed by your achievements).
