CEPSAM offers MA and PhD supervision in topics related to Latin American, Spanish or Portuguese Studies.

Supervision is available in English, Welsh, Catalan, Portuguese and Spanish (depending on topics).

Collaborative supervision of research projects by members of different Welsh universities may also be available. Check the Wales Luso-Hispanic Hub, for individual research interests across our six partner universities in Wales.

CEPSAM has close links with a local community organization, ‘The Iberian and Latin American Association in Wales’ (ILA), founded in October 2019 by a former academic colleague, Dr Patricia Rodríguez-Martínez. It has organized events such as the ‘Training Cartoneras’ Workshop at the Glynn Vivian Art Gallery (November 16) and has submitted several grant applications, for example, to the Lottery for a Heritage Project entitled ‘Pathways to Wales: the Iberian and Latin American Experience’. The aim is to engage with different nationalities and different generations.

Through its close contacts with the Swansea Environmental Forum, Swansea Council and ILA, CEPSAM is maintaining and extending its connections with the local community.
