Throughout April, a team of 20 Swansea University students have been calling alumni to update them on recent developments at the University and ask for donations to The Swansea Fund. After three weeks of calling, our students spoke to almost 1,000 alumni from across the UK.
We would like to thank all of our alumni who gave up their valuable time to talk to a student. We hope that you enjoyed the conversation and trust that you were interested to hear about the fantastic developments that have been taking place at the University.
We received a tremendous level of support from alumni, with donations totalling an impressive £100,688 and a particularly high number of alumni making their first gift to The Swansea Fund.
It’s not too late to donate!
The telephone campaign aimed to re-engage with as many alumni as possible, and was not designed purely to solicit donations. We have been thrilled to hear about so many interesting and diverse careers, as well as memories from time at Swansea. However, if you would still like to make a donation you can do so here: alumni.swan.ac.uk/donate

The Swansea Fund has been created for the sole benefit of our student body, supporting a variety of projects which will help to transform the university experience. Donations from alumni make a huge difference to our current students and the overall success of the projects supported by the Fund.
