The Statistics Unit has responsibility for the completion of the main University funding returns including the Higher Education Students Early Statistics data (HESES), End of Year Monitoring of Higher Education Enrolments (EYM), Research Activity Survey (RAS) and Funding Verification reports. We produce and maintain many of the key academic performance indicators that form part of the University’s Strategic Plan, and are responsible for the production of the Full-time Equivalent Load reports and predictions used for Business Planning.

The Unit also has responsibility, in conjunction with Academic Registry, for the co-ordination of the National Student Survey, and manages responses to the Destination of Leavers of Higher Education Survey to the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA). 

The team is located in Room 310 of the Taliesin Building and comprises of Andrea John, Sian Edwards and Catherine Delli-Bovi.
