Arriving after your contract starts?

If you arriving more than 3 days after your contract start date, you MUST notify us.

We do this as many student book accommodation and never arrive. In order to secure your room, you must:

  • Email: accommfinance@swansea.ac.uk at least 7 days prior to your contract start date &
  • Pay for the terms rent upfront in order to secure the accommodation.
  • We will send you a confirmation email with your Delayed Arrival Code to confirm that we will not cancel your accommodation.  
  • If you do not notify us and confirm your arrival, we may cancel your accommodation if you do not arrive.

If you are waiting on a VISA or CAS Letter? Please email: accommodation@swansea.ac.uk with the following details:

  • Your Full Name
  • Student Number
  • Date you applied for your Visa or CAS Letter
  • Expected date of arrival in Swansea

What do we provide?

As a student in residence, you will share a kitchen, unless if you are in a Self Contained Flat.

What you may need to bring

Before you buy any items for the kitchen, make sure you check with your flatmates to see who is bringing what.

Don't forget to join your Facebook Group and meet your new flatmates to coordinate who is bringing what, you don't want to end up with 8 Sandwich Makers and no Saucepans or space to store everything!

Our main arrivals days are Friday 21st, Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd September 2018.

Please check your tenancy for your arrival date.  Unfortunately, we are unable to allow key collection prior to the contract start date.

TRAFFIC OVERVIEW

FRIDAY -  - TRAFFIC WILL BE VERY BUSY DAY
SATURDAY - - TRAFFIC WILL BE MUCH MORE RELAXED ARRIVAL (TRAFFIC WILL BE MUCH LIGHTER ON SUNDAYS)

lATE ARRIVALS: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm - (excluding bank holidays) If you have been allocated accommodation at the Bay Campus, you can collect your keys -

Do I need ID to collect my keys?

To collect your keys to your accommodation, you will need your Arrival Pass and photographic ID. (You can also show this on your phone too!) This will be available in your Accommodation Account at any time after you have accepted your offer and completed your Induction. A copy of the Tenancy Agreement with photo ID will also be acceptable.

Beck House

BECK HOUSE KEY COLLECTION

If you have been allocated accommodation at Beck House, you can collect your keys between:

09:30am to 10:30am and 14:30pm to 15:30pm - (excluding bank holidays)

Do I need ID to collect my keys?

To collect your keys to your accommodation, you will need your Arrival Pass. (You can also show this on your phone too!) This will be available in your Accommodation Account at any time after you have accepted your offer and completed your Induction. HENDREFOELAN STUDENT VILLAGE KEY COLLECTION
