  • Supp 1st
Not qualified but has been offered uncapped supplementary assessment in specific modules. The candidate will not be offered the opportunity to resit any other failed modules.
  • Supplementary Core Examinations
Not qualified but required to re-sit failed core modules (final attempt) during the supplementary examination period. The marks achieved shall be capped at 40% (50% at Level 7).
  • Required to Withdraw from the University
Candidates who are Required to Withdraw from the University will be given no further attempts to redeem failures.  Candidates will not be eligible to transfer credits to another programme of study at Swansea University and their studies will be terminated.  Normally, a candidate with a decision of Required to Withdraw from the University shall not be readmitted to that same programme of study or to a cognate programme, without the approval of the Recruitment and Admissions Committee.
  • Required to Withdraw from the University - Award Ordinary Degree
Failed to qualify but has been awarded Ordinary Degree. Candidates will be offered no further attempts to redeem failures.  Candidates will not be eligible to transfer credits to another programme of study at Swansea University and their studies will be terminated.  Normally, a candidate shall not be readmitted to that same programme of study or to a cognate programme, without the approval of the Recruitment and Admissions Committee.
  • Required to Withdraw from the University - Award Diploma of Higher Education
Failed to qualify but has been awarded Diploma of Higher Education. Candidates will be offered no further attempts to redeem failures.  Candidates will not be eligible to transfer credits to another programme of study at Swansea University and their studies will be terminated.  Normally, a candidate shall not be readmitted to that same programme of study or to a cognate programme, without the approval of the Recruitment and Admissions Committee.
